I have explored the idea of performance as the art of communication; through conversation with an audience, in combination with other media, through the use of iconic symbols and simple questions and in cooperating with other artists.

The performance 13 Statements about Guns
was performed in London 2009 as part of the progressive piece Judas is with us,
wich has been on show in various versions since then. click here

The borderline
I went out to the center of Oslo to ask people in the streets where exactly runs the borderline between the east end and the west end of Oslo. I had brought a map, some chalk to make marks on the street and a pencil to write on the map. As I went along to find the borderline, and to walk the line through the central part of the city, I met many Oslo citizens who where enthusiastic about the question and very helpful to me, but as I went along I had several lines on my map, and I am still not quite sure wich one is the right line..

Grensen

Bergh&Mork performed during 2011 and 2012 a series of performances that we called underground works/ undergrunnsarbeider. The idea was to focus on the every day struggle of underpriviledged work in society in general as well as to reflect on the artists role as a producer and as a servant within the art institution. Each work was created between us equally all from the developement of the ideas down to the aesthetic details of the performances.
